“ This is recommended by our receptionist at Oakwood Hotel. We took a Grab to this restaurant and was surprised to find that it's fully booked on a Saturday afternoon! Ega and his team were very friendly and helpful and tried to assist us by allowing the elderlies sit while we sorted out. Thank God there was a cancellation by a tour group and we manage to settle in. Ambience is nice and casual. It's a comfy place to gather and chill out too, especially when the food is nice and authentic. I love their prawn, sweet sauce chicken and fish. It's a must try for all visitors and tourists. Will pop by again if I visit Batam. Ega, thank you for your great service and we will see you again soon! ”
“ p.s.: This was a randommendations (forgive the typo) by our Grab driver. Amazing Indonesian food at this eatery which I'd recommend to anyone visiting Batam! Here you'll be amazed by their wide spread of menu. Recommendations? Try their Sate Kambing Kuah Kacang and Nasi Bakul (literally translated to Rice Basket), 2 of our favourites! The latter comes with assorted toppings of chillies, potatoes, shredded chicken with sambal, salted eggs, etc - we liked it! Not forgetting their Bawal Bakar Cabai Ijo Petai; the green chilli oil-fried with petai is so so fragrant. For beverage, try their Kopi Susu Bhinekka (you can request for less sweet). ”
“ Food was perfectly cooked. Minis a star because most best seller were not available as early as 630pm. Looks like best to go for lunch instead. Not able to make reservation online so need to call if you want to sit inside aircon during weekends. Staff cannot speak very good English but lucky we have friends that can speak a bit of their language. ”
“ Authentic Indonesian food, the menu is massive, you may need some help if you’re not familiar, I had some fortunately, but the staff were friendly and helpful anyway. Everything we had was absolutely beautiful, quick to arrive to our table and nicely presented. I cannot overstate how comprehensive the menu is, but also, you can’t go wrong. ”
“ Overall will give it a 5 stars.. however is abt 4.5 stars.. the portion of rice is generous.. chili is good.. the only thing is the fried chicken is alittle dry on the inside.. the prawn cake is on the salty side.. ”
